Wermlandia (The medieval/Latin name for Värmland) The wolf is the county animal for Wermlandia/Värmland. I’m Wermlandia, an artist from Munkfors, Sweden, blending symphonic metal with powerful melodies inspired by my love for classic rock. After several years away from playing in cover bands. One of the things on my bucket list has always been to release my own music, and with the support of my wife, who encouraged me to ”Go for It”, we laid the foundation to release our first single, ”Rida i månens sken,” on January 1, 2025. The response exceeded my expectations (Thank you, everyone!). Creativity is at its peak, and more music is on the way. We have chosen to perform our song lyrics in Swedish, partly because it’s a challenge, but also because it makes the lyrics more direct. You become more vulnerable and raw when writing in Swedish. The music is created using various production methods, from digital DAWs, recording, and AI implementation. This embrace of technologies and AI reflects the artist/Wermlandia’s forward-thinking approach to music-making.
